Long Lost Pals

When I was about two, my Grandmother made me a Raggedy Ann doll who was about as tall as I was.  She even made a matching dress for me to wear.
I have spent a lot of time in flea markets and antique stores over the years, but I've never seen a Raggedy Ann made from the very same pattern mine was.  Imagine my surprise to round the corner in one of my favorite haunts to see Raggedy Ann's long lost pal!  I've been calling her Stunt Double Annie.
The very next week, Mom, Aunt Connie, and I returned to that same flea market to have lunch at the tea room.  In a different booth, who should appear but yet ANOTHER Annie!
Annie III went home with Mom to greet guests on the second floor.
Each one has her own little personality and unique features.  Original Annie seems to have received the most love - if love is represented by a dirty face, but all were made with love by someone somewhere.
