Last Friday, Annie made a visit to one of her favorite places, or at least it used to be - the vet. It was time to get spayed. She stayed overnight and has been a great patient - no chewing on her stitches. It's hard to keep this girl down though. The rules after surgery are no running, no jumping, no horseplay. Clearly they've never met our wild pup! They gave us sedatives, which I hate using, but it's the only way to keep her calm while she recovers. I'm making it up to her with extra kisses. I think she'd still rather be running!
On March 11, while still recovering from surgery, Annie turned 5 months. She weighs 33.8 pounds, and is pure joy and energy. She's wild as can be, but we love her to pieces. Now that she's spayed, we can get serious about doggie daycare so she can run out some energy doing something she loves - playing with other pups!
