Simplify

I've always liked cute wooden signs that say Simplify, but the irony of purchasing something that says Simplify always prevented me from buying one. Today I took the first step in simplifying a teeny part of my life. I deactivated my Facebook account. Facebook, you were sucking up too much time. It was nice for a little while to catch up with old friends, but I don't really need to know about the little details of their days. Nor do they need to know about mine. Step one.

I will continue to visit the town gossip for the both of us~it is a hard task but someone has to do it.

How funny. I've always thought the same exact thing about those signs!

Then again, I thought much the same about Real Simple magazine. Like if you were going to truly simply one's life, wouldn't you start with less magazines, less clutter, less stuff? Then I read an issue once and was hooked. It's still one of my favorites.

I'm sure I had a point.

:) Keetha, I cannot read Real Simple. It stresses me out. All those lists? All those things I should be doing? Yikes! :)

HA! I never thought about the Simplify signs, but Real Simple magazine makes me nuts. I think "simple" is their excuse for using cheap paper instead of the shiny glossy stuff.

(I really have no idea what I am talking about)
