I lived in Gila Bend, Arizona when I was junior high school. It's a small town on Interstate 10. It was often the hot spot of the nation during the summer until the guy who owned the Space Age Restaurant, where the official thermometer was, got angry at someone and pulled down the official thermometer. I think he was mayor, too. Good times.Anyway, Sedona is breathtakingly beautiful.
I love a town where the mayor is also the owner of a restaurant. (or THE restuarant?) :) Sedona was amazing, and I'd like to go back when we can spend more time there. And when it's cooler. You'll see when I post pictures that I didn't tolerate the heat very well.
