5 Years of Wedded Bliss

Today was our 5th wedding anniversary!  The day started with our names on our local NPR station as David was a day sponsor wishing me a happy anniversary.  That was really neat!  Then, our city had a parade for us!  Well, I think it was also the annual Christmas parade.  We met a bunch of friends for lunch at a place on the parade route and had a great time.
Almost all of those who watched the parade with us were also crowded into a little church 5 years ago.
Times like this remind us what great friends we have.
Krista and Kendall even came from their home a few hours away.

Dawn and her boys made it too!  As these boys grow up, I suspect they'll remember me as some crazy lady at parades, as they have been joining us for the St. Patrick's parade for years.  I guess being associated with parades isn't such a bad thing.

The paparazzi was there! ;)  Though it was hard to come back from vacation, I can't imagine moving so far away from all these people.  We'll celebrate one more time this evening at Silver Dollar City.  Here's to the next 5 years!  And the next...and the next...and the next.

Hooray for 5 years!

We should hit 38 this summer, by the time you hit THAT mile marker I may well be celebrating mine from the other side of eternity.

Ooooo - - - let's not think of that!
