Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes

Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes by Jimmy Buffett

About the time we thought our feet might fall right off from overuse, we stopped for lunch at Cheeseburger Key West.  It was delicious!  Possibly one of the best Cokes I've ever had. ;)  Or maybe I was just really thirsty.
We decided an hour and a half tour on the Conch Tour Train would be a nice way to see the sites - and sit down!  We did the tour near the end of our last trip here and learned a lot.  We were not disappointed in doing it again.  We saw different things than last time and had a great guide.

We hobbled down to Sloppy Joe's, known as Hemingway's hang out, for some pre-sunset refreshment.

Near sunset time, we headed to Mallory Square.  In Key West, every single night sunset is celebrated in great fashion.  Street performers, artists, and vendors all do their thing for the many tourist who gather there.
This clever dog would collect money for his banjo playing person.  It was pretty clever.  Banjo playing alone might not make much in tips, but everybody wants a Golden Retriever to take a dollar out of their hand!  It was an incredibly well-trained dog.  Even with lots of people trying to get his attention, the dog would wait for the signal from his person before he'd go to anyone.  What a cutie!
This guy was hilarious...part comedian part dare-devil.  His act was pretty impressive!
After sunset, it was time for our ghost tour.  Normally on Friday nights, we watch Ghost Adventures on the travel channel so we thought it was fitting to go on the ghost tour on Friday.  It was fun, and I'm glad we went, but it wasn't as ghosty as I expected.  Our guide, Jay, was good though and entertaining.
Nearly 14 hours after leaving our room, we finished our day with dinner at Margaritaville.  We drug our tired selves back to our room for a good nights sleep before getting up the next day to do it all again. :)
